The USGA is excited to offer financial assistance to all amateurs competing in USGA Open Championships. This financial assistance will be in addition to the championship’s prize money, as the total purse will be entirely distributed to the professionals in the field. Each amateur is eligible for up to $2,000 of reimbursement.

In order to receive funding, you will need to submit the Amateur Reimbursement form after the championship, including a detailed list of expenses you incurred, as well as receipts for those expenses.

For your reference, we’ve created a list of Expense Reimbursement Guidelines, intended to provide the necessary information to assist you with the process.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact the Player Relations team at [email protected].
