The number of players advancing from each qualifier and the total number of spots available in qualifying are determined after the close of entries. The number of spots available in qualifying depends on the number of exempt players who complete an entry prior to the deadline, along with spots being held for any exemptions determined after the deadline.
Spots in qualifying are allocated across all qualifying sites based on the total number of players at each site, with some exceptions for strength of field.
