- Begin by creating an account for the Parent/Guardian. This account will serve as the Account Manager.
- Go to https://champ-admin.usga.org/player#/apply.
- Click Sign-up located at the top of the Apply to Play page.
- Enter Parent/Guardian information in the required fields and click Register. Note: The system will require you to select a player status. As an Account Manager you can select Pro or Amateur, as you will not be filling out any applications on your own behalf.
- A validation e-mail will be sent to the provided e-mail address. Click the Verify email address link to verify your e-mail.
After verifying your e-mail, you will receive an Account Confirmation e-mail. Note: If you do not receive the validation e-mail within five minutes please check your spam/junk email folder. If the e-mail is not found in your spam/junk folder, add [email protected] as a safe sender for your email provider. Click Don’t remember your password on the Championship Application pop-up.
- You can log in by clicking Sign-in on the pop-up that was displayed after you registered or click Sign-in at the top of the Apply to Play page.
- To log in, enter your e-mail, password and click Log In. Note: If you have forgotten your password you can click Don’t remember your password.
- Once logged in to the Manager Account. Click “Account Management”.
- Go to My Managed Accounts and click Add Account.
- Enter the e-mail for the player(s) you will manage and click Send.
- A confirmation email will then be sent to the player’s email address. They will need to click the confirmation link to connect the account to their manager.
Once the accounts have been joined, the Account Manager will have permission to manage the player’s account. The account manager can submit applications on behalf of each player. Both the account manager and player will receive championship application communications.
- The player account can be managed in the Account Manager’s Profile under the Account Management tab. Click the radio button in the My Managed Accounts to select a player.
After the radio button is selected the Account Manager will have options to edit the account or apply to Championships on behalf of your children.
