Local Exemption
From the current Men’s World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR®, the top 50 point leaders and anyone tying for 50th place as of April 1, 2026 (must
be an amateur). Players must choose a qualifying site at the time of entry. Players exempt under this category will be determined at the close of entries. (Must have filed an entry by April 8, 2026.)
Local Exemption
From the Men’s World Amateur Golf Rankings, the top 50 age-eligible players as of March 25, 2026.

Full Exemption
From the current World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR®, the top 40 point leaders using the WAGR® Age Filter and anyone tying for 40th place as of March 11, 2026. Player’s WAGR® profile must include date of birth to be considered for this exemption category. (Must have filed an entry by May 13, 2026)
From the current World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR®, the top 100 point leaders using the WAGR® Age Filter and anyone tying for 100th place as of May 6, 2026. Player’s WAGR® profile must include date of birth to be considered for this exemption category. A qualifying site must be selected, and an application received by May 13, 2026.
**WAGR® Age Filter eligibility is determined by the age requirement for the championship. Players who will not have reached their nineteenth birthday by midnight of July 25, 2026 are eligible for this exemption. Player’s WAGR® profile must include date of birth before the final ranking is published on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 7:00 AM ET to be considered for this exemption category

From the current World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR®, the top 20 point leaders using the WAGR® Age Filter and anyone tying for 20th place as of March 11, 2026. Player’s WAGR® profile must include date of birth to be considered for this exemption category. (Must have filed an entry by May 13, 2026)

From the current World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR®, the top 100 point leaders in the World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR® and anyone tying for 100th place as of May 20, 2026. A qualifying site must be selected, and an application received by May 27, 2026.
From the current World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR®, the top 100 point leaders and anyone tying for 100th place as of June 24, 2026 (if not previously exempt). Players eligible under this category will be determined on June 24, 2026. (NOTE: Blank entries will be filed by the USGA for players who become exempt after close of entries.)

The top 700 point leaders and anyone tying for 700th place in the World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR® as of March 11, 2026. (Must have filed an entry by May 27, 2026)

Players who will have reached their twenty-fifth birthday by September 26, 2026, are eligible for this exemption.
